Blazing Saddles has moved!
On the 20th December 2005 we had our last tour at Palm Cove and
since the 21st December 2005 we have been running our ATV and Horse
riding adventure tours at KURANDA!
We are very excited about our move to a BIGGER and BETTER
property!
Blazing Saddles started operations on the 19th
May in 1997. Blazing Saddles is a family owned and operated company
that has strong ties to tourism in Tropical North Queensland, Australia.
Now located at Kuranda, 35 minutes west of Cairns, Blazing
Saddles specialises in half-day rainforest adventure tours, either
horse riding
or an ATV (quad
bike) ride. You can also take a combination
tour of both rides in one day!
You will enjoy a 2 hour tour and experience the beauty of the rainforest
flora and fauna.
The rides commence through bushland surrounding the Blazing Saddles
complex. Native Australian forest and rainforest surroundings
provide interesting and adventurous trails and also many native
animals and birds. Spectacular views over the
tablelands provide wonderful memories. Tours include courtesy
coach transfers from all hotels in Cairns and the Northern Beaches,
meals and safety equipment. An instructional lesson is given to
all participants prior to the start of the tour.
With a stable of over 70 quiet and gentle horses, Blazing Saddles
offers a safe and relaxing way to see the rainforest. With horses
to suit all levels and ages (minimum age 4 years) this is a perfect
family adventure. We use the highest standard of equipment including
Saferider safety stirrups with a quick release
mechanism. Our horses have a friendly nature and will be matched to
each riders experience and ability. We cater for beginners and experienced.
Our ATV's (all terrain vehicles) are easy to ride and provide the
perfect transportation through the rainforest. Blazing Saddles has
a large fleet of quad bikes, 250cc ATV's plus a selection of 90cc
ATV's for the ladies and children (minimum age 12 years). No license
or previous experience necessary. This tour is excitement plus and
allows the participants to experience nature close up, at their
own pace.
