Our Story

A small family company starting out with only 20 trail horses has now blossomed into a totally professional outfit with over 60 horses and more than 16 staff members.

Our horses are selected individually for their gentle nature and we have a wonderful choice of trail safe horses to suit any level, any size and (almost) any age. In fact we take riders as young as 4 years of age.

Following the success of our horse riding tours, Blazing Saddles diversified into a Outback and rainforest adventure of another kind using ATV's (stands for All Terrain Vehicles) which are 4 wheel motor bikes also called Quad bikes. They began life as bubble wheeled farm vehicles but have been re-invented as the hottest new outdoor recreation vehicle in the world! It's no wonder as they are excellent fun!

In November 1998, we began the operation of 10 All Terrain Vehicles. Since this time we have expanded to cater for an amazing 30 ATV adventure seekers per tour.

While we are able to cater for large groups, generally our tours are conducted in more manageable, and fun, numbers of between 6 and 12 riders (sometimes even less for the ATV's).

So whether you are totally inexperienced, or an ATV expert or horse rider extraordinaire, what more perfect way to experience Tropical North Queensland then to immerse yourself in our beautiful rainforest aboard the transport of your choice.
