Where is Blazing Saddles?
A. We are located at Kuranda - 35 minutes west of Cairns.

Q. Why
did you move from Palm Cove?
A. The land we were leasing was sold to a property developer
who is building a housing estate. The new location has all the
features of the old (except the occasional ocean view) with
a whole lot more thrown in such as genuine farming experiences
like cattle and sheep roundup. Animal petting. Rainforest, Gum
forest and amazing 6ft high Anthills. It is really an accessible
outback experience on horseback or ATV! |

Do you provide coach transfers?
A. Yes we offer free transfers from Cairns and Northern
Beaches. |

Do you need any experience? A.
Absolutely no experience is necessary however, we do divide
groups to cater for the more experienced riders. |
Q.
How long is the tour? A.
From pickup point to drop off point the tour is approximately
4 hours in duration. This includes transfers, meals, safety
lesson and approximately 2 hours on your horse (generally covering
about 4 to 5 kilometres). |

How many guides do you have on each trip?
A. Generally we have a minimum of 1 guide to 4 or 5 customers.

How many people can you take on each trip?
A. We can take up to 50 people on our horseriding tour and 30
people on our ATV tour. Groups are usually kept to a maximum
of 12 people unless a larger group specifically requested. We
operate with a minimum of 2 people per trip |

Are your guides experienced?
A. Yes, all of our senior guides are well versed in horse and
ATV riding. They are genuine and friendly and will ensure that
you are at ease. |

Do you have a Japanese speaking guide?
A. Yes, we always have a Japanese speaking guide on duty. |

We also have a professional photographer on site. |

A. We are open 7 days a week all year except for Christmas Day
and New Years Day |

How many horses do you have?
A.
We have 65 fabulous healthy horses. All with individual characters
and great temperaments. |
Q. What kind or horses do you have?
A. We stable mainly Australian Stock Horses but we also have
a selection of Quarter Horses, Arabians and many others. |

How big are your horses?
A. We have a great variety of sizes but most of our horses would
average 14 to 15 hands high. |
Q.
Will there be a lesson prior to the ride?
A. Yes, our guides will give you an introduction to your horse
so you feel comfortable before you leave the lesson area. |

What kind of equipment do you use?
A. We use Australian Stock Saddles. We are the only horseriding
company to exclusively use "Saferider" stirrups with a quick
release mechanism to prevent accidents. |

many ATV's do you have?
A. We have 20 Honda TRX 250 ATV's and 12 Honda TRX 90 ATV's. |

Do you need a license? A.
No license is necessary. These machines are easy to ride and
our obstacle course will help you improve your skill. |

How old are the ATV's?
A. We have a 1 year replacement schedule. |
